Purpose Of Reaching Out To Us
- The client hired the TechYantra team to fetch raw data on the topics given in English and later translate it into six different languages:
- French
- German
- Portuguese
- Latin
- Spanish
- Italian
- The client said to give us 20 topics (Political, Historical, environmental, current world affairs, sports, philosophical, spiritual, etc.) every other day.
Challenges We Faced
- The client has huge expectations of collecting approximately 2 lakh words per topic.
- Researching & finding the data was the most challenging part because it was hard to reach the target limit on many topics.
- The team had to enter over 2 lakh words per topic in excel manually.
- The client’s expected us to deliver “very high-quality” content in one go.
- The timeline was rigorous & every other day, we had to deliver previous work before getting new topics.
Solutions We Provided
- The TechYantra team took this project as a challenge. We used MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Visual basic to provide our best services to the client.
- Before getting into the actual work, we did a sample run for two topics to understand the exact requirement, decide the workflow, estimate the precise time of each process & calculate the productivity.
- We assigned a team of 50 BPO experts to this project to research, enter & translate the data.
- We set up a team of 5 QC experts to ensure the highest accuracy & quality of the work to be delivered.
- We set up rules for translating footnotes and quotes based on guidelines from established global institutions.
- We worked with the client to create a glossary of approved terms for consistent use throughout the document.
Results
After translation and approval from the team, we sent the material back to the client for internal review.
The client described the translation as “extremely high-quality,” and there were no revisions to be made by the translator.
Once the client had approved, we sent the translation to the typesetting step. As a last check, the translation team combed through the original text to look for any typographical or diacritical mark problems.
The client was satisfied with the results.
