Purpose Of Reaching Out To Tech Yantra
Company Working Brief
Before connecting with us,
- The automobile company has an in-house design research and development team.
- They operated at the site to create designs and drawings for manufacturing units.
- However, the company lacked the required testing strategy and coverage to ensure the quality of the designs.
- It resulted in difficulty in decoding the detailed manufacturing instructions and drawing annotations.
- Considering the automobile industry standards, they followed strict Quality Control (QC) procedures resulting in inflexibility.
They were single-handedly and manually maintaining the entire project, both time and resource-consuming.
What Did Company Expect From Us?
- The company came to Tech Yantra to cut down on the time and resources spent on reworks in the manufacturing process.
- They also wanted an automation solution for QC of PDF files of designs.
- Moreover, they asked us to record and standardize Facebook postings and categorize them based on ethnicity and age.
Challenges We Faced
For this project, Tech Yantra’s team first analyzed what they were getting themselves into, the challenges, and whether we were capable enough to overcome the difficulties. If yes, then how?
- Since the company was new to automation, it had severe management issues.
- We faced issues rectifying the “skip chats” option on the website. The page was earlier redirecting the client to a new page.
- The challenging part of the entire project was finding, flagging, and bypassing comments that moderators deleted.
- We also had to deal with growing sub responses and collapsing comments. The dealing was entirely based on a hierarchy for data collection and scraping.
- The client wanted us to remove information like timestamps and positions.
- They also asked us to extract data in paragraphs and text that did follow a predetermined pattern.
Solutions We Provided
Programmers at Tech Yantra have hands-on experience with Robotic Process Automation.
When the client came to us, they knew what automation process was needed to check the data stored in the store’s drawings.
- Our automation specialist decided to first design bots using the UI Path.
- They used the R package to verify the details in the drawings and models.
- The programmers then included scale, drawing methods, spell-checks for the client’s information, and other relevant facts using the title block.
- The team decided to use the UI route, an RPA tool, to mimic human procedures for the QC process.
- The team used a bot to detect the data accuracy, compare it to the reference standards, and highlight inconsistencies.
- The experts trained the bots to validate pixels on drawings before final dispatching to verify the title block’s content.
- If the bot discovered spelling, data, or missing information inconsistencies, it recorded them in an output Excel file.
- A senior engineer checked the accuracy of random sampling by personally reviewing drawings and comparing the findings with the bot.
- The team fixed NLP algorithms when they discovered problems raising the quality threshold.
What Do Automation Experts Have At The End Of The Project?
- all five views,
- the scale of the drawings,
- dimensioning,
- tolerance correctness,
- manufacturing specifics defined by the company, and
- metadata information in the case of 3D model parts.
Results
We sent the final bots to the client for final integration with RPA-driven quality checks.
RPA validated what our client desired—accurate information and zero errors.
Our client was pleased with the delivered result.
